Hello, and welcome! I am so glad you are here. Before we connect, I'd love for you to learn a little more about me and the care I provide.

I aim to provide you with a welcoming space, whether you’re an individual, part of a couple, or a parent seeking support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. While I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy, my practice is open to anyone looking for compassionate, personalized mental health care.

As a late-identified neurodivergent therapist who is both Autistic and ADHD, I bring a unique personal understanding to our sessions. My journey as a parent to neurodivergent children has given me deep insight and empathy for families navigating similar paths.

In addition to my professional training, my lived experience with chronic pain, illness, divorce, blended families, and infertility allows me to connect with clients on a deeply personal level. I understand the challenges that come with navigating these circumstances and offer a compassionate space for those seeking support through life’s complexities.

An Affirming Environment
I create a safe, affirming space tailored to your sensory needs and comfort. I design the therapy environment with flexible lighting, soft blankets, and fidget toys to support diverse sensory preferences.

A Comprehensive, Collaborative Approach
My professional training and lived experiences allow me to offer a comprehensive perspective. I work closely with you to customize therapy, ensuring a person-centred approach whether you’re seeking neurodivergent-affirming therapy or support for other mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions or trauma.

Committed to Growth and Inclusivity
I am dedicated to providing all clients with an inclusive and culturally competent space. My practice welcomes individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, including people of colour, LGBTQIA+ communities, and those from all cultures and lifestyles. I recognize that you are the expert in your culture, experiences, and circumstances, and I strive to work collaboratively with you to understand your unique needs. I am committed to continuous learning, ensuring my approach evolves to meet the needs of the individuals and communities I serve.

Lived Experience

My passion for this work is deeply rooted in my own lived experiences. As someone who is neurodivergent and a parent to neurodivergent children, I understand the unique challenges and strengths that come with navigating life through this lens. My journey has also been shaped by personal experiences with infertility, divorce, blended families, and living with chronic illness and chronic pain. These experiences have given me a profound empathy and understanding of the complexities individuals and families face. They inspire me to provide a compassionate, supportive space for clients as they navigate their own paths.

My Professional Background
I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and have focused much of my professional development on ADHD, Autism, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. I use an eclectic style that incorporates various modalities and draws on a variety of training including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory, Parts Work / Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman, and others. I continue to seek varied professional development that allows me to build on this eclectic style and tailor it to the needs of each client.
